What Blogs Should Cleaning Companies Post to Improve Their SEO?

There’s a very specific kind of blog post that cleaning companies tend to write when they first start thinking about SEO.

It usually sounds something like:

“Top 5 Reasons to Choose Our Cleaning Company.”

Which is… fine.

But also not what people are searching for.

SEO Blogs Are Not About You

This is the part that feels a little counterintuitive. Good SEO content is not about your business.

It’s about your customer’s questions. The things they’re typing into Google when they’re trying to figure something out.

What People Actually Search

Things like:

  • How much does house cleaning cost

  • What’s included in a deep clean

  • How often should I have my house cleaned

Those are the blogs that get traffic, because they match real questions.

Why This Works

When you answer real questions, two things happen: Google understands what your site is about, and people start to trust you before they ever reach out.

If you remember using Ask Jeeves or early Google, you probably remember typing in full questions and hoping for a decent answer.

That hasn’t changed much. We just expect better answers now.

The Bottom Line

The best blogs for SEO are the ones that answer real questions, not the ones that talk about how great your business is.

Focus on what people are already asking.

Then answer it clearly.
