Are leads actually becoming customers?
The final door. When leads don't close, the fix usually isn't more leads.
The fifth door is where marketing hands off to the business. If inquiries aren't becoming booked jobs, pouring more budget into the top of the funnel manufactures the same disappointment faster. We look at what happens after the lead arrives, response speed, the estimate, the follow-up, because in this industry, the ads aren't always the problem.
Marketing doesn't stop when the lead form gets filled out. We're just as invested in what happens after that click, because that's where revenue is made.
What a closed door looks like
Leads that were contacted, but never booked
Estimates given, then silence
Pressure to raise ad spend while close rates fall
What we examine
- 01Speed and consistency of lead response
- 02The estimate and follow-up sequence
- 03Where qualified leads go cold in the pipeline
A few things we've learned at this door
This is the door where agencies most often blame the client. It is also the one where the fix is usually cheapest, response speed, a clearer estimate, and follow-up that actually happens.
